Fr. Ronald Coyne

Fr. Coyne is a Bostonian by birth, having been raised in Roslindale and West Roxbury. He graduated from Catholic Memorial High School and was ordained a priest in 1973. Much of his ministry has been in parishes in Mattapan, Dorchester, Roslindale and Charlestown (also serving in Weymouth and Randolph).  He was active in these Boston parishes when forced bussing was implemented (Mattapan) and when Boston Public Housing was integrated (Charlestown). Fr. Coyne was instrumental in organizing the Charlestown After Murder Program (CHAMP), working with the families determined to seek justice for their murdered loved ones.  Much of his priesthood has been centered around ministry to children, teenagers and young adults in CYO and Youth Ministry.  Since June 2014 he is the pastor of three parishes that comprise the Blue Hills Collaborative. He is now reaching out to those ministering in the various faith traditions in his new neighborhood, to rejuvenate an interfaith association and lead by example.



Fr. Charles Madi-Okin

Fr. Charles a native of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and one of the six children of Celine Kinsaba Madi and the late Julien Madi.  Before entering St. John Seminary for theological formation, he attended elementary school in Kipala, Congo, Institute Bosembo in Kinshaha, Congo and completed university study at Saint Augustine in Dakar in the West African nation of Senegal. He  was ordained by Sean O'Malley, Archbishop of Boston on May 26, 2007 at the Cathedral Holy Cross of Boston. He loves his ministry and with God's grace, tries to live it every day.




Anna Williams Cote

Anna Williams Cote is our Ministries Director for the Blue Hills Collaborative.  
Anna's roots are in Brockton. She is one of six children and she attended parochial school from elementary through high school. While in high school at Cardinal Spellman, and later, at Stonehill College, Anna taught Faith Formation, was a lector, and a Eucharistic minister, participated and led the youth group, and was a member of the Liturgy Society and evangelization programs. She went on to graduate school and she lived Cursillo in 1996 at Stonehill College. Anna's professional career has been varied: Most recently, she spent 20+ years in higher education, first as a professor, then as Dean of the Plymouth Campus of Quincy College, and finally as the Vice President for Academic Affairs until 2013. She and her husband, Michael, live in Marshfield where they are parishioners at St. Ann by the Sea. 




David Jenkins

Director of Music

David Jenkins is our Music Director for the Blue Hills Collaborative. His responsibilities include selecting the music for all our liturgies, scheduling our musicians, and maintaining our many instruments. David had been the organist and Music Director at Most Precious Blood Church for over 40 years before assuming the same role for the Collaborative.


Sheila Farley

Religious Education Coordinator

Sheila Farley is our religious ed coordinator and is responsible for the religious education and spiritual formation of the children and young people in Grades K – 10 in our 3-parish collaborative. Together with a team of caring and enthusiastic catechists and assistants, we create a safe and welcoming learning environment, where we share our knowledge of the Catholic faith with our students, as well as their families.


Ana Chavez

Office Manager

Ana Chavez is the Office Manager at the Blue Hills Collaborative, where she has been working for over four years.  She organizes and coordinates the office administration, procedures, and various Collaborative events.  Born in the Dominican Republic, she was raised in NYC and she graduated from The City College of New York in 1995 with a degree in Business Administration. In 2014, Ana and her husband, Juan, founded "Heartbeats of Love" (https://Fundacionlatidosdeamor.com), a non-profit organization where Ana pursues her passion in working with homeless children in her hometown in the Dominican Republic.  As a Hyde Park resident and an active member of Sacred Heart Parish in Roslindale,  Ana is honored to work with the people of the Blue Hills Collaborative.  


Mike Pankievich

Facilities Manager

Mike Pankievich, a parishioner of St. Anne's, is the Blue Hills Collaborative facilities manager.  Mike worked for 45 years directing facility operations at three hospitals and as an Associate VP of Facilities at a local university.  He brings with him a wealth of experience and knowlege in the facilities management area.  Since retiring in 2016, Mike has been assisting at the church regularly as a Eucharistic Minister.  He and his wife, Patty, moved to Hyde Park from Mission Hill five years ago and are thrilled to be part of the St. Anne community.






Kathi Ryan Flynn

Administrative Assistant

Kathi Ryan Flynn is the Adminstrative Assistant at the Blue Hills Collaborative.  Kathi greets and welcomes visitors both in person and via telephone. She helps book mass intentions and funerals, types up baptism, marriage and other parish certificates, helps to coordinate parish events and assists with with many other duties. Kathi is a lifelong Hyde Park resident and brings her love for her neighborhood to the Blue Hills Collaborative every day.



John Manning


Director of Finance

John Manning is the Director of Finance for the Blue Hills Collaborative.  John was born and raised in Hyde Park and he attended MPB School.  Prior to returning to Hyde Park with his wife, Ellen, John's career was outside of the Boston area and focused on education across the government, higher ed, and nonprofit arenas. He was the regional director for a state agency for 15 years, a university professor and program coordinator for 12 years and a chief operating officer for two nonprofit organizations.  He brings a broad view of program development with a strong understanding of the financial oversight for charitable missions to the Blue Hills Collaborative.
